Snorkeling and free diving day on a private boat Marseille

You don't have to be a diver to discover the underwater world. You can join the snorkeling and free diving adventure on a private boat in Marseille!

Snorkelling on the islands off Marseille can take you to most of the underwater wonders and the shallow waters are where the colours are most vivid and the aquatic life is surprisingly thriving. Snorkelers have the chance to explore the Mediterranean waters without heavy equipment and visit the best snorkelling sites. All of our snorkeling trips are supervised by an experienced and certified guide who will show you how to recognize aquatic creatures, spot sunken relics of the past and peek into a new world. Each snorkelling trip is conducted in complete safety and comfort for all to enjoy.

Supervision in private boats for snorkeling and freediving

Private snorkeling trips are available for families or mini groups of friends, taking explorers to some of the island's most famous coves for snorkeling and swimming stops to explore the breathtaking coastline and discover marine life.

Excursions are carried out in a 7.5 metre inflatable speedboat with a 250 HP outboard motor and a sea access ladder that meets all safety standards.

All the necessary snorkelling equipment (masks, snorkels...) is included and for those who just want to enjoy the swim, there are additional floating aids.
The captain of the boat is certified in sea rescue and first aid and is also a certified snorkelling and diving guide. He is also certified in underwater biology.

Itineraries can be tailor-made and can include excursions around the 4 islands of the Frioul archipelago: Pommègues, Ratonneau, Château d'If and Tiboulen du Frioul

Guided snorkeling services are held daily, weather permitting of course, and the best time of day is usually midday, when the sea conditions offer more site options and the total duration of the activity is about 3 hours or more.

Demandez une session de découverte de la plongée libre “Freediving”.

Discover snorkelling sessions are also held every day. New snorkelers are taught basic breathing techniques, snorkelling and safety tips, so they get an insight into snorkelling and a chance to improve their skills and also to gain depth, explore the site and see if snorkelling is something they would like to pursue. It's an introduction to the world of freediving.

New freedivers will learn the proper techniques for diving, moving and balancing underwater, pre-dive relaxation, which is also important to save energy and oxygen during the dive by holding your breath. You will learn the protocols and procedures for safe freediving and how to become a freediving buddy. Take the first step and watch your performance increase as you learn to stay safe. If you become adept, you can go on to become a certified snorkeler.
