PADI Orienteering Diver Training: Finding your way back!

Everybody swims around a reef or visits a wreck - when it's time to leave we turn to you. Of course, since you are a PADI Underwater Navigator and you know your way back to the boat.
Underwater orienteering can be a challenging activity and it's scuba diving orienteering training that will teach you how to master them. You will be taught all the essential tools, including navigation based on natural and compass directions. You will learn to estimate distances underwater, follow a navigational route and know where you are while following an arbitrary, irregular route .
Certification counts for the PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification.
This training can lead to a French or American card. You will discover the different tips to orient yourself naturally. This is how listening to the briefing, the topography of the site, the observation of the surface relief and the currents give you precious indications. Then, observation and information gathering during the journey are decisive.
Finally, the use of instruments such as compass or electronic compasses are valuable, especially in conditions of reduced underwater visibility.
